Creamy Cabbage Noodles

4 oz. egg noodles ( I like to add a little bit more)
5 slices bacon
1/2 to 1 head cabbage
2 Tbs. water
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
1 Tbs. sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
1 Tbs. flour
chopped parsley or paprika for garnish
Cook noodles as directed, drain.
In large skillet cook bacon until crisp, drain, reserving 2 Tbs. drippings.
Shred cabbage to make 6 cups; add to pan with drippings, water, sugar, salt and paprika.
Cover and cook ( med. high) until cabbage is tender, about 3 min.
Blend sour cream with flour until smooth; stir this into cabbage.
Cook and stir until mixture boils; cook one minute more, then remove from heat.
Crumble bacon and mix with noodles into cabbage mixture stirring to combine.
Garnish with paprika and/or parsley and enjoy. YUMMY!!!!!! * recipe can be easily doubled if needed.
