Mystery Pie

 
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/3 cup plus 1/4 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 C. chopped nuts
1 cup lt. or drk corn syrup
pie crust dough

Beat cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla and salt in small bowl until thick and creamy, then set aside.  Beat 3 eggs in medium mixing bowl only until well blended.  Add 1/4 cup sugar, corn syrup, and vanilla.  Blend well.  Spread cream cheese mixture in bottom of pie crust lined pie pan.  Sprinkle with nuts.  Gently poor corn syrup mixture over nuts.  Bake at
350 for 40 mins., until center is firm to touch.  YUMMMYYY!!!!! NEED GLASS OF COLD MILK!!!
